And the little brothers....

Miss Peyton's little brothers.
I snuck a few of them after I photographed her.
I love this last one of her brother Silas.
He refuses to be photographed and I get such a kick out of it!!
And those curls....

You know what I love about photographing kids?

I love the stories they tell while you're quietly
capturing them with the camera.
The details of school and friends and little brothers....
Miss Peyton is the daughter of a very good friend of ours.
My children ADORE her and so do I!
She is a great storyteller and activist...
she organized a charity event at her school last year to help a fellow classmate.
A heart of gold, this one, and wisdom beyond her years.
I could listen to her all day long and never tire.
XOXO Peyton!

Grateful...

Grateful for long time friends...
Grateful for mornings spent with them...
Grateful to have the opportunity to photograph their beautiful family...
We used to walk this campus discussing exams & lectures.
On mornings like today, we chase each other's children
playing tag and hide & seek.
How life has changed...
And yet, remained the same....always thankful for their friendship.

A lovely Saturday morning....

spent with the sweetest family.
Erica is one of my closest friends.
In fact, she's more than a friend, she's family.
You know the type of friend I mean...
We've stood by each other through all sorts of life's events.
We've hugged and laughed and celebrated...
We've cried each other's tears...
We've supported each other's dreams and hopes...
We've sang hopelessly off key at Lyle Lovett concerts...
We share a love of crazy winter hats and modern dance...
And this morning I had the pleasure of photographing her beautiful family.
Enjoy this little sneak peek!
xoxo!
